Learnory

Terms of Use

Last updated: 9 October 2026

These terms govern your use of Learnory, an English-learning app with interactive stories, operated by Onuralp Kaygın (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Learnory.

The service

Learnory offers interactive stories, saved vocabulary and review, progress tracking, friends and optional paid Premium access. Features and stories can change, be added or be removed over time. Learnory is a learning aid and does not guarantee any particular result in your English skills or exams.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your password and sign-in methods secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old, and if you are under the age of majority where you live, you need your parent or guardian's permission. You can delete your account at any time in the app.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: use offensive, hateful or impersonating usernames; harass other users, including through friend requests or nudges; attempt to access other people's accounts or our systems; scrape, copy or resell our stories, glossaries or images; use bots or automated tools; or break the law. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

Premium subscriptions

Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store. The price and period are shown before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting your Learnory account does not cancel your subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its rules. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app.

Content and intellectual property

The app, stories, glossaries, images, text and design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app and its content for your own learning. You keep ownership of anything you create, such as your word lists, and give us permission to store and display them as needed to run the service.

Friends and other users

Your accepted friends can see parts of your profile and progress as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for what you share and with whom.

Availability and changes

We try to keep Learnory available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features, and we may update these terms. If a change is important we will tell you in the app or by email. If you keep using Learnory after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.

Disclaimers and liability

Learnory is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law or liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You may stop using Learnory and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we must do so by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in the country where you live.
